Retired Pets

     Hello viewers!  It's the world's first blogging cat, Lucy!  In this blog post you will read about ways to help old animals.  Also we'll keep you updated about polls and other things on the blog!
     Some of you probably have an old animal or neighborhood pet that is old.  I have a very old friend, a cat, myself.  Now maybe your dog isn't so into walks as he is in sleeping.  Or your cat doesn't chase you when you run with her toy.  Either way you have to face it.  All old pets like to sleep.  When your pet is asleep let him be.  A lot of seinor pets like to be by themselves.  You don't need to ignore the animal.  When your pet is awake give soft, gentle attention.  Don't give your pet too much attention or they could get uncomfortable.  Just talking to your pet is enough attention.  If you pay enough attention to your pet it will be happy.  I've learned this from observing the way my friend lives his life as a seinor animal.
