Summer Fun!

     Hi again!  Are you excited for summer?  I know I am!  Lucy Life the newsletter is going great.  Over the summer Emma's cousins are coming for a few days.  Emma and one of her cousins are going outside of the box to help shelters.  Let's take a look...
     Emma's cousin, has a little duct-tape business.  Well, he decided to help Emma with Lucy Life by making a stand outside of a store when he and his family come!  The stand will include his duct-tape creations with some items Joseph wants to sell as well as drawings made by Emma.  They hope to raise a little more money that way.  I wish them the best of luck!  I know Emma and Jan have been working really hard for this to happen.  It takes a lot of work drawing, using duct-tape, persuading parents, all of this takes work and creativity.  They have done a fine job.Emma and Joseph's cousins are coming. It isn't just Emma and Joseph's cousins!
     There is another cousin!  A dog!  Ruby the dog and Lewis are friends and "cousins".  They get along even though the difference in age.  They are the best of friends.  The fact that they are so far apart doesn't bother them!  Ruby often comes and visits if her family is there.  These distant friends have other buddies but any other friendship can not compare!
     My birthday has just past and I am now four!  I am getting older, but I still am strong and content.  Another birthday that is coming up is Lewis' birthday.  He will be six years old but he won't age a day inside!
