Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!  How will you show your love? Here are three ways to show your love to the animals this year:

• Visit your local animal shelter and volunteer
• If you adopt a new pet try rescuing these dogs need your help more
• Show some love to your own pet by walking, petting, playing, or just spend more time with him/her

If you are feeling extra loving, you can take in a pet from your local shelter.  Sometimes pets at the animal shelter need extra care or are not ready or developed for the life at an animal shelter.  These pets can be taken in by kind people for a period of time until they are ready to go back to the shelter or even until they are ready to be adopted!  You don't have to be a pet owner.  Doing this is great if you feel like you can't have permanent pets in your house.  For the time that the animal stays with you, you will have a special bond with him/her.  It will be sad to see the pet go, but you had a great experience and you should feel proud and good about yourself!  You may even realize that this is a pet that you would like to adopt yourself!  There are millions of benefits!
